Called to Serve
It is an exciting time as Spencer has received his mission call! He will be spending two years laboring among the good people in the Mexico, Tampico mission. Spencer is very excited as he gets to use the Spanish he's learned so far in school (4 years worth) and he'll get to further fine tune his Espanol. He's also grateful to be able to serve the Lord and spread the love of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Here's a short video of the opening of the envelope when he found out where he is going. He'll report to the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah May 6th!

How wonderful for him and for your family! Wow! when did these years go by?? Seems like just yesterday these boys were all so little!
What a treat to watch and listen to the short video of him opening his missionary letter! So so sweet!
That was the first time I have had the opportunity to witness that special and sacred event. Thank you so much for sharing!

Oh how great to be able to keep that moment forever - thank you for sharing the moment, even tho we were on the phone too - I think Spenc has grown a couple of inches already- and seeing him with the full time missionary on Sunday was exciting.Love -Grandma
